TravelSoul
Effective Date: June 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how TravelSoul ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the TravelSoul mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Account Information: When you create an account using Sign in with Apple or email/password registration, we collect your email address and, if provided, your name.
- Trip Preferences: Cities you select, attractions you choose, pace and vibe preferences, and any customizations you make to generated itineraries.
Information Collected Automatically
- Device Identifier: We generate and store a unique device identifier to associate your trips with your device.
- Generated Itineraries: The travel routes and itineraries created for you are stored on our servers and linked to your account.
- Usage and Analytics Data: How you interact with the App — screens viewed, features used, and actions taken — along with device and app information (device model, OS version, app version). This is collected via our analytics provider (PostHog) and associated with your device identifier and, if you are signed in, your account.
- Diagnostics and Crash Data: Crash reports, error logs, performance data, and information about failed network requests, collected via our error-monitoring provider (Sentry) to diagnose and fix problems.
- Subscription and Purchase Status: When you buy TravelSoul Pro or a Trip Pass, we receive your purchase and subscription status (which products you own and their trial / renewal / expiration state) from Apple via our subscription provider (RevenueCat), linked to your account so we can unlock the right content. We do not receive or store your credit card or Apple payment details — Apple processes all payments.
Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect precise location data from your device.
- We do not use third-party advertising, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites for marketing.
- We do not collect or store your payment card or Apple Pay details — all payments are processed by Apple. (We do receive your subscription and purchase status, as described above.)
